About Us at The Big Picture: A Message from Mark and Chris Skehan

As brothers and co-owners of The Big Picture Group, we built this business on a simple belief: that the right infrastructure, technology, and people can make any organisation run better.

Over the years that belief has shaped three distinct but connected divisions. Our Audio-Visual team designs and installs systems that help businesses and educators communicate clearly and confidently — whether that is a boardroom, a classroom, or a large-scale event environment. Our Telecommunications division delivers end-to-end fibre and civil infrastructure for Tier 1 contractors, carriers, councils, and enterprise environments across Queensland — the kind of work where safety, ownership, and getting it right the first time actually matters. And our Civil team specialises in the ground-level work that keeps infrastructure moving: hydro excavation, trenching, pit and pipe, hauling, and ACM management.

What ties it together is not the technology. It is the standard we hold ourselves to. Every crew, every project, every scope of work carries the same expectation: show up prepared, follow the system, communicate early, own the outcome.
